Booking Policy

A $25 deposit is required to reserve your date and time. Your booking isn't confirmed until the deposit has been paid — until then the slot stays open to anyone else who asks for it.

The deposit comes off your total, it isn't an extra charge. The remaining balance is due by the end of your session, and you can pay it online from your booking page any time before then.

If you booked and then changed your mind within 24 hours, the deposit is fully refundable — just ask. After that it becomes non-refundable, because the date has been taken off the calendar and turned away from other clients.

Life happens. You can move your session once, free of charge, as long as you give more than 48 hours' notice — your deposit transfers to the new date.

Inside 48 hours, a reschedule is treated as a cancellation and a new deposit is needed for the replacement date.

A second reschedule also needs a fresh deposit, whenever it's requested.

Cancel more than 48 hours before your session and everything you've paid beyond the deposit is refunded in full.

Inside 48 hours, the deposit is retained. If you've already paid the balance, half of it is refunded.

If the studio has to cancel for any reason, you receive a full refund including the deposit, and first choice of the next available date.

Please arrive ready to shoot — hair, makeup and outfits sorted. Session time starts at the time you booked.

Sessions end at their scheduled finish time so the next client isn't pushed back, which means lateness shortens your shoot rather than extending it.

More than 15 minutes late without word counts as a no-show, and the deposit is forfeited. A text as soon as you know you're delayed will almost always be worked around.

For outdoor sessions, the call is made together the day before. Rain, storms or dangerous heat mean we move — there's no charge and no new deposit for a weather reschedule.

Overcast is not a problem. Soft, even light is often the best light there is, so a grey forecast is not a reason to move.

Sessions in the home service area carry no travel charge. Beyond it, a flat travel fee applies by distance band — you'll see the exact amount before you pay, never after.

Locations outside the listed zones are still very welcome; they're quoted individually because they may involve tolls, parking, permits or an overnight stay.

Any location permit or entry fee (some parks, gardens and venues charge one) is the client's cost and is separate from the travel fee.

Edited photos arrive in a private online gallery, and you'll get a link and password by email. Turnaround depends on the package and is listed with the pricing.

You choose your favourites in the gallery, and downloads are full-resolution and yours to keep, print and share.

Galleries stay online for at least 90 days. Please download and back up your photos in that window — re-uploading an archived gallery may carry a small fee.

Raw, unedited files aren't delivered. Editing is part of the work, and an unfinished file isn't representative of it.

Print them, frame them, post them — please do. A credit or tag when you post is appreciated but never required.

Please don't apply your own filters or crops to edited images before posting; the edit is the finished work.

Commercial use — advertising, packaging, resale — needs a separate licence. Just ask; it's usually straightforward.

Whether the studio may show your photos is entirely your call and is handled separately in the photo release, which is opt-in per use. Declining it changes nothing about your own rights to your photos.

Bring a friend, a partner, your kids, your dog if the location allows it. Sessions should be fun.

Sessions are a respectful space in both directions. Harassment or intoxication ends a shoot immediately with no refund — this has never come up and hopefully never will, but it's worth saying plainly.

Children and pets are welcome and need an adult with them who isn't in the frame, so someone can help wrangle.
